Two Way Passive Splitter Kit This splitter kit will allow you to provide two satellite radios with signal using one satellite radio antenna. The Two Way Passive Splitter Kit is designed to operate with any XM or Sirius satellite radio receiver and antenna. It is equipped with female F-connectors and designed to operate with standard RG-6 cable (not included).
For proper operation the total cable length from the antenna to the radio should not exceed the antenna's maximum cable length rating minus 50 feet. For example if the antenna is rated to be able to drive up to 200 feet of RG-6 cable, then the sum of all the cable runs from the antenna through the splitter to the radio that is farthest away should not exceed 150 feet. Note: For operation in close proximity to high power satellite radio terrestrial repeaters. Please use the supplied 20 Db attenuator on the input of the splitter to avoid amplifier overload. Otherwise this attenuator is not required.

Eight Way Splitter Kit This kit includes the adapters, cables, splitter, amplifiers and impedance transformers to operate multiple satellite radios from a single standard antenna and allows the use of standard RG-6 cable for connections.
This kit has been designed to maintain the proper RF link budget for the radios and not degrade the C/N or BER (Bit Error Rate) of the received signal. The splitter loss at 2.35 GHz is overcome by the amplifiers gain located at the input to the splitter. The splitter is power passing on all ports (diode protected) and passes the DC output of the each radio to power the antenna and amplifiers. For RG-6 cable runs to or from the splitter exceeding 25 feet it is necessary to use additional amplifiers (Model SBA-1) to overcome cable loss and maintain proper signal levels. Power Inserter This unit consists of a 4.5-5.0 VDC power supply for use in RG-6 networks designed to distribute Satellite Radio signals.The power supply has been pre-adjusted to output 4.5VDC at current levels up to 1 amp max.
CAUTION: Do not adjust the power supply for voltages higher than 4.5VDC. Damage to the antenna's low-noise
