Satellite Radio Test Set

This test set utilizes the internal "diagnostic menu" of an XM Delphi Roady XT radio to display important parameters which are very useful for optimum antenna alignment, troubleshooting and installation of satellite radio distribution networks. The parameters are provided for signals received from each of the XM Satellites in orbit or from any of the XM terrestrial repeaters.

Parameters:

Carrier to Noise Ration (C/N): Useful for antenna alignment
Automatic Gain control (AGC) Level: Measures input signal power
Bit Error Rate: Provides a measure of actual bit errors in the received signal.

Note: To utilize the diagnostic menu, activation of the Roady XT is not required. Each unit is individually calibrated.
